I’ve had great jobs with lovely bosses. The types of jobs where you are so excited about the work that you’re doing that you pretty much vibrate when you talk about it. And bosses who inspired you so much that you’d stretch yourself to do seemingly impossible things just so you could make them happy.

And I’ve had bad bosses.

And bad jobs.

Ones where I should have gone for lunch on the first day and never looked back. Jobs where I hit the glass ceiling after just a year.
